We have adapted this recipe from Jordie Pieâs Turmeric crackers. So simple and SO delicious. We suggest you double the recipe as they will disappear. đ
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cassava flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 1/2 Tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tspn garlic granules
- 1 tspn of Italian herbs
- 1 tspn of turmeric
- 1/2 tspn of salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- Optional additions 1 tspn of: Superfeast I am Gaia/ Shroom to Improve Lionâs Mane / Cell Squared Beef Organ Powder / 1 scoop Thankfully Nourished Collagen Powder
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Line a baking tray with baking paper
- Add the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well
- Stir in the wet ingredients
- Let sit for 5 or 10 minutes so the mixture thickens
- Sprinkle cassava flour on some baking paper
- Spoon the mixture out onto the baking paper
- Sprinkle flour on top of the mixture
- Place a piece of baking paper over the top and roll out
- If you donât have a rolling pin use the palm of your hand to push it out to an even thickness
- Cut the dough into small squares
- Carefully transfer to the baking tray with an egg lifter OR
- Roll the pastry out onto baking paper on your tray and slice the biscuits on the baking tray
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Turn the crackers over
- Bake for another 5 minutes
- Take out of the oven and enjoy (doubt that they will even cool down before they are demolished)
