Turmeric Crunchy Crackers

We have adapted this recipe from Jordie Pie’s Turmeric crackers. So simple and SO delicious. We suggest you double the recipe as they will disappear. 😋



  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper
  • Add the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well
  • Stir in the wet ingredients
  • Let sit for 5 or 10 minutes so the mixture thickens
  • Sprinkle cassava flour on some baking paper
  • Spoon the mixture out onto the baking paper
  • Sprinkle flour on top of the mixture
  • Place a piece of baking paper over the top and roll out
  • If you don’t have a rolling pin use the palm of your hand to push it out to an even thickness
  • Cut the dough into small squares
  • Carefully transfer to the baking tray with an egg lifter OR
  • Roll the pastry out onto baking paper on your tray and slice the biscuits on the baking tray
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Turn the crackers over
  • Bake for another 5 minutes
  • Take out of the oven and enjoy (doubt that they will even cool down before they are demolished)
