This herbal concoction could possibly be classed as a tonic, instead of a tea.
Rosehip and Elderberry make up the bulk of this blend for their potent anti-inflammatory, high Vitamin C and antioxidant content.
Elderflower eases upper respiratory worries such as runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes.
Dried Orange and Rosehip are rich in bioflavanoids, carotenoids, magnesium, zinc and copper.
Licorice root simply sweetens the citrus and berries, whilst coating mucous membranes in sore throats during times of respiratory stress. It does NOT taste like licorice lollies.
How to brew Whole C Vitamin Tea:
Shake packet or tip upside down so the berries evenly distribute.
1 heaped dessert spoon for a 2 person teapot
2 heaped dessert spoons for a 3-4 person teapot
Brew for a minimum of 5 minutes, 10 mins for an ideal quick hot tea.
The BEST thing you can do is brew at night, and leave for 12+ hours. This ensures you get maximum Vitamin C from the ingredients. Rosehip have a lot to release so the longer the steep the better.
Serve on ice with fresh orange for toddlers and little one to make it fun. Or Mary Poppins spoonfuls in the morning of a very strong overnight brew. We like to sip ours at bed time nice and warm.
FLAVOUR NOTES: Citrus, Tart, Berry, Sweet
